Kevin Jumadiao
Born in 1997, Kevin Jumadiao grew up in Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines. He became interested in arts during his fourth year of high school. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Major in Advertising from Technological University of the Philippines, where he began participating in various art competitions such as Shell and Petron. After graduating, he began working as a graphic artist, but later pursued his passion to become a full-time visual artist, participating in group exhibits using charcoal and oil. However, he has focused on oil painting in his most recent works. He mostly employed glazing and dry brush techniques. His artwork advocates for mental health awareness by demonstrating that despite our daily struggles, there is always hope. In 2022, he was a finalist in the MADE Competition with his artwork titled ''Help,'' which demonstrated that people should not be afraid to ask for help. He later held his first solo exhibition at Art for Space Ph in November 2023. Kevin Jumadiao is still exploring and developing in the hopes of inspiring more people with his work.
