Marinel Gruezo is a clay artist from Valenzuela City, born in 1997. She graduated from Bulacan State University, where she majored in Fine Arts with a focus on Visual Communication. Gruezo’s works often depict everyday foods, aiming to highlight the value and beauty in simple things that we sometimes take for granted. Her art encourages viewers to appreciate the everyday items we often overlook, like food, as objects worthy of gratitude.

Her work was first showcased at Art Fair Philippines as part of an installation by her partner, Joshua Torres, featuring eggs. She continued to gain recognition at Art in the Park, where her sculptural pieces drew attention. For Gruezo, sculpting serves as a medium to transform her ideas into tangible forms, allowing her to express and share her unique perspective on the world. .
